What causes an earpad to be B-stocked for a cosmetic reason? The reasons are including but not limited to the following:

Non- uniform leather that is beyond our typical variance (all natural materials have some variance.)

Seams that are not stitched straight. A bit of a wavy seam.

Missing a stitch with a small peek-a-boo at the inner foam. This is where a small “hole” might appear that does not compromise the overall stitching. In this scenario a stitch has been missed but is not the function of the seam unraveling.  

Some earpads are prototypes that were never released. Indicated as "prototype."
