Our Atrium Open LTD features the beloved Queensland Maple cups, Espresso BBB, Brass Rod & Grille, and black aluminum chassis.
In the Atrium’s pressure-vented shell, lightweight Queensland Maple acts almost like an acoustic diffuser: its interlocked, wavy grain scatters internal reflections to create the headphone’s trademark wrap-around stage. The lower hardness lets the dynamic driver breathe, adding a hint of romantic bloom while maintaining the Atrium’s incisive midrange imaging. Visually, the same silky chatoyance that made the wood favored for vintage aircraft trim now gives each cup a liquid depth—swirls of honey and rose-gold that shimmer through the Atrium’s open grille.
