How to install Adapter Rings in your ZMF Caldera Pads:

• Prepare the Pad Place the ZMF Caldera pad with the ear-facing side of the pad (the front) up.
• Crimp the Ring Gently crimp the flexible adapter ring in half by pinching it slightly. Do not fold it completely in half; just enough to make it manageable.
  
• Insert the Ring Slide the crimped ring into the front of the pad. It should go under the foam layer but above the driver covering material inside the pad.
  
• Un-crimp the Ring Once part of the ring is inside the foam, carefully release the crimp and allow the ring to expand.
  
• Seat the Ring Fully Use your fingers to work around the pad in a circular manner, ensuring the ring is fully seated beneath the foam and evenly distributed.
  
• Check Placement Ensure the ring is completely hidden under the foam and that the pad feels evenly stiffened.

Note The adapter ring is 2mm thick and will slightly puff out the foam. This enhances the soundstage and may slightly alter the frequency response of the headphones. Experiment with positioning to find the sound you prefer.
