Launch boost: 20% bonus towards a new ZMF through Nov 15
Submit your appraisal through the button below between Oct 16 and Nov 15, 2026 (11:59 PM CT) and we'll bump our bonus up to 20% of The Music Room's offer. After Nov 15 the ZMF bonus is 10%.
Example: The Music Room offers $1,500 for your amp, so you get a $300 ZMF bonus code during the launch boost (or $150 after Nov 15).
How it works
- Start here. Click the button above to Sell for Cash (or click What's Your Goal to change to Full-Service Selling), enter your gear details, and be sure to type "ZMF Trade-In" in the Notes box.
- Get your offer. The Music Room appraises your gear and emails you an offer, or for consignment, an agreed listing price. We're copied.
- Accept and ship. Accept your offer and ship your gear. The Music Room buys or consigns it and pays you on its own terms.
- Get your ZMF code. Within 1 business day of The Music Room letting us know you've accepted (or that your consigned item is listed), we'll email you a bonus code to use on a ZMF headphone.
The fine print
- What you can trade in: Anything The Music Room buys, not just ZMF. They focus on 2-channel hi-fi and generally don't buy home theater, car audio, soundbars or mass-market electronics. The Music Room sets the offer and its own terms.
- What qualifies: Sell for Cash and Full-Service Selling (consignment), started from the button on this page. Trade/Upgrade (Music Room store credit) doesn't qualify. For the 20% boost, submit by Nov 15 and accept your offer within 14 days.
- Bonus amount: 20% for requests submitted Oct 16 - Nov 15, 2026; 10% after that. For Sell for Cash, it's based on your accepted offer. For consignment, it's based on the listing price you agree to with The Music Room, and your rate is set by the day you submitted, even if your item sells later. Trade in as many items as you like, in one request or several, up to $1,000 in bonus per customer per calendar year. If you still have an unused code when a new trade comes in, we'll replace it with one code for the combined total.
- Your code: One-time code for a fixed dollar amount, good on one order for 90 days from the day we send it. Unused balance doesn't carry over. Non-transferable, no cash value.
- Where it works: Any new ZMF headphone on our website, including stock models, LTDs and drops. Not valid on B-Stock headphones, amps, pads, cables, accessories or gift cards.
- Combining: One code per order, so it can't be combined with another credit or discount code. It can be used on a headphone that's already on sale, including Black Friday and drop pricing.
- If your trade changes: If your trade is cancelled, or a consigned item is returned to you unsold, your code is void. If it's already been used, we may invoice its value. If The Music Room's final payment changes significantly from your accepted offer or agreed listing price, we may adjust your bonus.
- Missing your code? Forward The Music Room's offer email to support@zmfheadphones.com within 7 days of accepting and we'll sort it out.
- Program changes: ZMF may change or end this program at any time. Codes we've already sent will be honored.
