ABOUT BOKEH PAD ADAPTER RINGS

Designed to improve pad fit on Bokeh models, the ZMF Adapter Ring adds inner tension to your Caldera Pads, creating a snug, stable fit when using full-size ZMF pads on our oval headphone cups.

The adapter ring is 2mm thick and will slightly puff out the foam. This enhances the soundstage and may slightly alter the frequency response of the headphones. Experiment with positioning to find the sound you prefer.
HOW TO INSTALL
  • Prepare the pad: place the Caldera pad with the ear-facing side up.
  • Crimp the ring: gently pinch the flexible ring slightly in half. Don't fold it completely; just enough to make it manageable.
  • Insert the ring: slide it into the front of the pad, under the foam layer but above the driver covering material.
  • Un-crimp the ring: once part of the ring is inside the foam, release the crimp and let the ring expand.
  • Seat the ring: work around the pad in a circle so the ring is fully seated beneath the foam and evenly distributed.
  • Check placement: the ring should be completely hidden under the foam, and the pad should feel evenly stiffened.
