ABOUT CLAMSHELL CASES

Want something more portable than a hard case, or a smaller footprint on the shelf? Our clamshell cases are slim enough to slide into a regular-sized backpack or carry by the attached leatherette handle, with a molded interior, soft Sherpa lining, and a mesh inner pocket for your extra pads.

The clamshell started with the BOKEH: we wanted a case it could sit flat in and travel easily, like a lunchbox full of auditory pleasure. That became the brown Bokeh Case with brass hardware, and now the same idea comes in black with steel hardware for our full-size, round-cup models.

Accessories usually ship within 2-5 business days. All sales are final; no returns, refunds, or exchanges.
SPECS + COMPATIBILITY
  • Outer dimensions: 10.25in x 10.5in x 4.5in / 26.04cm x 26.67cm x 11.43cm
  • Black: steel hardware; molded to fit full-size, round-cup ZMF models
  • Brown (Bokeh Case): tobacco mosaic leatherette, brass hardware; molded to fit the oval BOKEH
  • Avoid placing heavy or sharp objects in the mesh pouch; they may damage wooden headphones if close contact occurs

  • Free shipping on US orders over $200 (ZMF Wear excluded).
  • Most pads, straps and accessories ship within 2-5 business days. Made-to-order cables ship with your headphones or in 2-5 weeks.
  • Earpads and accessories are final sale once shipped. You can cancel an accessory order any time before it ships.
  • Discounted and B-Stock items are final sale.
  • Custom Shop items are final sale.
  • Amps and DACs bought at full price can be returned within 14 days of delivery, minus a 10% restocking fee. Amps bought in a bundle or at a discount are final sale.
  • ZMF Wear is made to order by our print partner and ships separately, with its own tracking.
  • Arrived damaged or not as ordered? Let us know within 5 days of delivery and we’ll make it right.

Please note that our prices DO NOT include VAT, duties, or other fees that are incurred upon import. Expect to pay an additional 20-27% (depending on your location) on top of our listed price in VAT and fees, that will be due upon delivery and may be remitted directly to your carrier.
