Cayin, much like ZMF makes amplifiers at different price levels that aren't necessarily "better" or "worse" than each other. Between the HA-3A, and HA-2A Cayin has released two fantastic amps in the last year. The 3A with a SET sound, which is a little more lush and euphonic, and then this, the HA-2A, an ultra-linear amp with a quick transient, and beautiful tube decay.
There's no right or wrong with the Cayin amps, as you'll be able to drive almost any headphone with the HA-2A and it's transformer based design, three output impedances, and three output jacks, including 1/4", XLR and 4.4 TRRRS.
